Reaching out to the general public raises awareness of our contributions and the critical role that universities and research centres play in improving lives.  The program reinforces UBC’s position as a tier-one university dedicated to an exceptional learning environment that fosters global citizenship, advances a civil and sustainable society, and supports outstanding research to serve the people of British Columbia, Canada and the world.
