Postdoctoral Fellow
Dr. Fariba Yeganeh received her Ph.D. degree in Organic Chemistry in 2022. Her proposed research utilizes nano cellulose extracted from lignocellulosic wastes and micro-fibrillar cellulose to develop high-quality bio-based sustainable products. She is passionate about researching the pulping process as she studied in wood and pulp industries for MSc. She will join the ERMP program in June 2023 and she will be responsible for conducting experimental research related to mechanical refining and fractionation of thermo-mechanical pulping processes. In particular, she will identify and formulate relevant problems, choose appropriate tools and develop solutions.
