MASc student
After completing 3 co-op terms with the team and his undergraduate degree in physics, Sam is joining on as a master’s student in mechanical engineering under the supervision of Drs. Mark Martinez and James Olson. In previous work terms, he contributed to Project 3.2 by studying wood compression and co-creating the Pulp and Paper Centre Image Processing Toolbox. In his master’s thesis, he will continue the wood compression research and investigate the absorption of water into paper sheets using a variety of imaging techniques
